On September 23rd Terry O’Reilly and his sons, Adam and Dave, attended a Funnel Day in San Diego, CA with my team and I. Listen to what they had to say about their experience of doing a Funnel Day with us.
“I’m Terry O’Reilly, the Businesses Insurance Pro Agencies, and we’re a network of independent insurance agencies across the United States. Been in business for about 30 years in total, and have been operating it as a network for about 10 years.”
“We want to grow the agency network to 2,000 agencies. That’s our goal. We feel that we need a new system to do it. We need an automated system to do it, and we need a website that correctly depicts what the opportunity is and helps people to get all the information that they need, in a format that they can get the information that they need at the pace that they want to get that information, and apply to us online and we just want to automate our process so that we can bring on more agencies, a larger number than we can now.”
“I think it was terrific. It’s everything that we’ve talked about over the last couple years, but we don’t have the expertise to make it happen. You guys have really seemed to figure it out, so we’re very excited about it. It’s current technology. It’s using the way that people interface with businesses now, and it brings it all together.”
“Yeah, it was great to see all of the capabilities, and it’s just amazing to see what we’re missing out on. Bryan and Mike really, they were able to step into our business and get a full understanding of it and really see exactly what our vision is. It sounds like they’re going to come up with a plan to get us to be able to meet that vision, and it seems like they’re ready to take every step of the way to do that, so it was really great.”
“I think that it’s important to, before you just go off and launch a new product or service, to really kind of break down the business. I think that’s what Bryan and Michael helped us with today, is to take our, kind of strip away our business back down to the core of what we do and why we do it, so that we can then really communicate what we’re offering to our target market.”
“For me, I think it’s going to give us the roadmap that we need in the use of the proper technologies and where to advertise and how to generate people that are interested, how to get them to our website to get the information that they need, and then hopefully apply and join our network.”
“Yeah, it gave us a plan, and what I really liked was I had seen some videos online where I had seen other funnels and how they had done things for other businesses, but to actually see Bryan up there on the board trying out the funnels for our business, it really became real for me to see it in action and it really gave us a direction that we.”
“I thought it was great just to have two guys that are not in our business be able to take a look outside of our business and see where maybe we were missing out on and not have a clear vision of, so it was very beneficial.”
“I’d recommend it to anybody other than another insurance network. We don’t want anybody else doing what we’re doing here.”
“I’d highly recommend it.”
