“Hello. My name is Pamela Mumm. I’m from Dubuque, Iowa, and I’m here to build funnels that help companies, organizations build healthy teams. I have wanted to launch funnels for the last two years. Before today, I knew that I needed funnels, I knew that I wanted funnels, and I very clearly figured out that I did not know how to build funnels. In the past, I had done a done-with-you service. In a done-with-you service, I was the barrier. I looked for a done-for-you because I do know that I want the results. I know, though, that I need to stay in my line. I need to do what I’m good at, and I need to hire experts to do what they’re good at.
Coming into today, I was expecting to meet great people. Michael and Bryan were amazing, and I was expecting to figure out how to use my gift in the world or how to bring my gift to the world. The Funnel Day absolutely exceeded my expectations in a couple of ways. One, it laid out a very clear plan, which I did expect. The way that it was unexpected is that they, Michael and Bryan, did a great job of managing me and managing my frustration with my own inability and the idea that I knew what I wanted to do. I knew that I was getting in the way, and they were so pleasant at letting me vent, letting me say words, and then saying, “Pam, it’s okay. Get out of your own way. We’re here. We’ve got your back. You can trust us. Come on, let’s go.”
The biggest surprise out of today is that when I was setting the goals at the beginning of the day, I knew what I wanted to accomplish. By the end of the day, not only do I know that I will accomplish that, I actually know that what I set was really low and what I will accomplish is far greater than I had imagined for myself. When it comes to the investment for today, investing in time or investing resources, that really means nothing, because what I invested in today was in my own knowledge, and in invested in me and my future, and that is priceless.
Today, the best thing that happened was that Michael and Bryan listened to me all day long. Now, knowing that they know my business, I have so much more trust in the fact that they will help me get there. Today, at the end of the Funnel Day, what I realize is that there is a way for me to achieve what it is I want to achieve. And actually, even more than before, I realize that I’m not going to do that alone, but nobody ever does anything in this world of significance by themselves, so I’m super excited to be here at the end of the day looking forward for what’s about to happen next.
