Mark Johnson: “My name’s Mark Johnson from Madison, Wisconsin. The business idea that I’m trying to build some funnels for is helping people be more successful in their sales career and more effective at the point of sale. You know, I’m relatively new to funnels. I’m very interested and intrigued by the concept. I think that my journey started probably about six months ago. I tell you what. In terms of like how do I feel about being able to realize my vision, I don’t think this challenge has been unique to me, but the vision is really clear in your brain, but it’s so involved and so technical in some areas that when you try to get out of your brain and figure out everything that you’re trying to execute on and everything that’s involved and the specialized knowledge and skills that it takes, during your journey, you tend to get really overwhelmed. I was at a point where, after having some failures and trying to piece my list together, outsourcing this work, that I just really was searching long and hard to find a team that could actually help me get everything out of my brain and into reality. While I’m feeling really full right now, my brain, I’m feeling really good knowing that I still have a lot of stuff to digest. It’s been a really good day.”
Mark Johnson: “I knew that I’d probably end up with going a done-for-you service just because, you know, it’s a basic tenant of most successful people, when they focus on their strengths and they manage or delegate their weaknesses. Why I thought that I was going to be different and could actually do it all myself, I still am puzzled by that. I’m just really happy and relieved that I came to that conclusion sooner rather than later and actually found a team that, you know, I felt comfortable with not only entrusting my vision to them, but actually having the confidence in the fact that they can actually execute on my vision.”
Mark Johnson: “You know, I just had, I think the process that I went through to actually getting here helped develop a lot of confidence for me to actually make the step and make the investment. I was expecting, I guess best case scenario, to be able to emerge from that, number one, feeling confident in the notion that there was somebody that actually understood what I was trying to accomplish and could understand my vision, which is really important. At least, to me, it is. I’m sure it is with most people in my situation, but also to have an idea of not only what’s possible because what’s possible is so much bigger than what I think most people can really wrap their arms around. I came out of it both with, I guess, a very large peace of mind and total confidence around Brian and Michael’s ability to execute on my vision. I felt like they not only heard me, but they understood it. Then, I guess the cherry on top was actually to be able to visualize what things are going to look like and what type of reach I’ll actually have and how many lives I can actually affect with my vision.”
Mark Johnson: “The Funnel Day definitely exceeded my expectations. I think that it was probably from a standpoint that I’ve got a clearer vision. I thought I had a clear vision coming in, and I did, but it’s even clearer now. The discovery, I think what the unexpected discovery was how much more involved the whole process really is and what all goes into it. I think that would be the biggest one. The value compared to the investment, it’s awesome. It’s awesome from the standpoint that if you don’t make the investment, you don’t realize your vision. You can either execute your vision and have a lot of success and realize great rate of return on your investment or you don’t realize your vision, which isn’t an option.”
Mark Johnson: “Now that I’ve done my Funnel Day, I feel like your team definitely understands my business and there’s no question in my mind that I’ll be getting to where I want to go. I feel that after the Funnel Day today, my vision is a lot more clear. Part of it is is that my vision had a lot of different moving parts and a few different addressable audiences. We’re able to prioritize that, break it down into stages, and break it down into digestible segments, which obviously prevents me from feeling overwhelmed. It helps me focus on what needs to be done right now. I can’t even put a value on that.”
Mark Johnson: “If you’re considering a Funnel Day or if you’re not sure whether it’s right for you or not, I think that I would tell you is is you just need to do a gut check and really ask yourself how important or how valuable would it be for you to actually realize your vision. For my standpoint, I don’t know how anybody would actually realize their vision without a Funnel Day, personally. Everybody’s a little bit different, but I think it’s imperative, especially if you’re going to continue to focus on your strengths. It’s a fact. You can’t do everything. At some point, you’re going to have to outsource it and get somebody to do it. You’re either going to make the investment now and do the Funnel Day to get clarity so you get comfort so you can focus or you’re going to waste another six months to a year. That’s kind of what it boils down to.”
